The project aims to highlight the possibilities that the specific specialized methodologies have for the study of the air and the marine environment.
The project will create an environmental observatory in the region of Messinia, capable of providing valuable information regarding the air and marine pollution.
Regarding air pollution, the main objective is to assess the exposure of a representative sample of the population to environmental factors, focusing on both the indoor and outdoor environment of its houses, as well as its areas of activity.
Messinia was selected as the application area based on the problem of air pollution that it faces due to the number and specificity of industries that exist in the region.
